What Not to Buy at Ikea...

As you may or may not be aware, Ikea is one of our favorite stores to find modern home accessories.  However, a recent Yahoo article advises against purchasing the following items from the store:

 1.    Mattresses - better deals / quality can be found in stores which only focus on selling mattresses.

2.    Imitation Wood Products You’ll Use Every Day- generally lower quality and won't last as long as the real thing

3.    Dinnerware- great if you are looking for stylish flatware, but other home goods stores such as target offer better quality.

 4.    Things with Complicated Assembly Instructions- unless you are a handyman, be aware of items that require a good amount of DIY assembly.
